These simple, tubular steel structures fix in place with simple ground anchors – no digging or drilling – and can be taken down, moved, and reused from season to season. Featuring steel hoops spaced 4′ apart with a simple ridge purlin holding it all together, these Caterpillar tunnels can be covered in plastic to protect crops in the spring and fall. Or, cover them in shade cloth to protect heat sensitive crops like lettuce and spincach during the heat of summer.
